Our Commitment
HoneyWay LLC is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all people, including those with visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor disabilities. We believe everyone deserves equal access to real estate information and services, and we work continuously to improve the accessibility of https://honeywayllc.com.
Accessibility Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines describe how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and are the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility.
The four core WCAG principles we design to are:
- Perceivable — Information and interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive, including through assistive technologies.
- Operable — Interface components and navigation must be operable by keyboard and other assistive input methods.
- Understandable — Information and operation of the interface must be understandable, with consistent navigation and clear error messages.
- Robust — Content must be robust enough to be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of current and future assistive technologies.
Measures We Take
To support accessibility, HoneyWay takes the following measures:
Keyboard navigation
The Site is designed to be fully navigable by keyboard alone. A skip-to-content link is available at the top of every page for keyboard and screen reader users to bypass repetitive navigation.
Screen reader support
We use semantic HTML elements, ARIA landmark roles, and descriptive
alt attributes on images to ensure content is correctly
interpreted by screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
Color and contrast
Text and interactive elements are designed to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 Level AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text). Color is not used as the sole means of conveying information.
Resizable text
The Site uses relative font sizing so that text can be resized up to 200% in your browser without loss of content or functionality.
Form accessibility
All form inputs include associated labels, and error messages identify the specific field requiring correction and describe what is needed.
Link context
Links include descriptive text or ARIA labels so that their purpose is clear when read in isolation by a screen reader.
Third-Party Content
Property search features on this Site are powered by IDXBroker, a third-party service. While we select vendors with accessibility in mind, we do not have direct control over all IDXBroker interface elements. If you experience accessibility barriers within the property search or account features, please contact us and we will work with IDXBroker to address the issue, or offer an alternative means of accessing the same information.
Embedded maps, mortgage calculators, and other third-party widgets may also have their own accessibility limitations. We are happy to assist you access equivalent information directly if a third-party tool presents a barrier.
Known Limitations
We are aware that some areas of the Site may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards, including:
- Some older listing photography may lack descriptive alt text beyond the property address.
- Certain IDXBroker-generated pages have interface elements outside our direct control.
- Video content, if present, may not yet include captions or audio descriptions.
We are actively working to address these limitations. If any of these affect your ability to use the Site, please contact us and we will do our best to provide the information through an accessible alternative.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
This Site is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
