Spiked Eggnog
A great dessert for any adult, this Spiked Egg Nog is thick, creamy, and spiced to perfection. Bourbon or brandy will be the perfect spirit to complete this cocktail, and bring cheer to any family gathering.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 whole milk
- 1/2 heavy cream
- 1/2 cup rum, bourbon, or brandy
Directions
- In a large bowl, beat 2 egg yolks with 3 tablespoons of sugar until fluffy
- Add in whole milk, 1/2 cup heavy cream, and 1/2 cup rum, bourbon or brandy
- In a separate bowl, beat the 2 egg whites, with the remaining 1 tablespoon of sugar until soft peaks form
- Fold egg whites into yolk mixture
- Divide into 4 rocks glasses
- Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg
